On the subject of I felt so guilty bringing you to daycare this morning...
Girl, I felt so guilty this morning.
You’ve been sick the last two days, but you’ve seemed normal. Just a runny nose and a wet cough. But this morning when I dropped you off at daycare, you looked back at me with the most tired eyes.
I wish I didn’t have to work.
I wish I could hold you all day.
I wish I could sleep for you, when you can’t.
Man… I’m so sorry kid. I wish I could be so much better.
