Dear Laca,

On the subject of why I'm writing...

I wanted to write to you in case anything happens to me, or in case I don’t have the courage to share how I feel as an individual, rather than your mom.

I’m not in “strict mom mode” yet, so these letters will hopefully show you the side of me when I was properly in your shoes.

I hope you find these some day, and that they provide you a smidge of comfort.
