I know peace like I know the weight of your body on mine. I know peace like I know the chill of your drool on my shoulder. I know peace like I know that your skull fits perfectly in the crook of my neck.

Like I know the feel of your ribs rising and falling into my stomach. Like I know the tickle of your hair against my cheek. Like I know your tiny arm around my neck. Like I know your palm on my face. Like I know the many greens in your eyes.

I know peace because I know you.
